Dear friends, The student movement in Puebla decided to close out the year’s activities with a Christmas celebration, where students from several universities came together to celebrate what God has been doing through them at their schools and also celebrating the most wonderful gift we received from God: His Son Jesus!  For our family, it was a great moment to share with the students, and we encouraged them to continue getting to know Jesus Christ. Now for some news about our family!  The kids have been growing fast, and this past December 15th, Leah turned 3!  We celebrated by having a small party at our house.  We had cake, a piñata and some party snacks for the guests, and Leah was very happy to be with her friends.  She had a great time, and so did we.  Ian is now 1 year and 5 months old.  He really likes playing with his sister now that he is walking.  It’s really nice for us to see them playing together and enjoying each other’s company. It is a privilege for us to partner with you in order to continue carrying the message of the gospel to the university students here in Mexico.  Thank you so much for your faithful support through prayer and finances. Prayer requests: - That we may get full enjoyment out of spending Christmas with our children and get the rest we need to be ready for all that 2015 has for us.  It will be an important year for our family as well as for the movement in Mexico. - That students who are participating in the Puebla student movement continue growing in their faith in Christ and that during this vacation period that they may have good conversations with their family and friends. - May God continue to provide all our needs.   We wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!   “ For to us a child is born,  to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 Luis, Liz,Leah, & Ian Pomares " The Gospel for every student, A movement for every campus, Leaders for every nation" Make a donation to our ministry: Online: https://give.cru.org/give/View/2805380 Check: Make your check payable to 'Cru' and attach a post-it note with "Luis  & Elizabeth Pomares" account # 2805380, please do not write anything in the for / memo line.
