The Pomares September 2015
Dear friends, We send you our warmest greetings and hope that you are all doing very well.
We have begun a new semester here at the university, and we’re very happy about everything God is doing the in the life of each student who is involved in our movement in the various university cities throughout Mexico.
We would like to tell you that a few days ago, I had the opportunity to spend two and a half days in Mexico City working alongside some missionaries from CRU Korea. They had spent two years planning their visit to Mexico, hoping to spend 10 weeks serving at UNAM. They arrived on September 1st and will be there until November 10th. The group is made up of 6 students and 2 missionaries from Korea, who are joining forces with the Mexican students already participating with UNAM’s CRU ministry. They will all be working together to share their faith and train the Mexican students about leadership so that their spiritual impact may be able to multiply at their university.
It was a really exciting couple of days as we prayed, worked, and dreamed together to see God raise up a new generation of student leaders at UNAM. Here is a picture of the team along with some of the UNAM students.
As far as our family goes, our children continue growing up very fast. Leah is really enjoying her school and our son Ian loves learning how to color while watching his sister do it.
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. We are very grateful to be a team alongside all of you as we strive to fulfill the Great Commission in Mexico.

Please pray that God would use the Korean missionary team in the lives of the UNAM student leaders. They will be here for another 8 weeks.
Please pray for our new staff who are in the process of raising their financial support. Pray that God would provide friends who could become part of their financial support team. There are 6 staff working on raising funds right now.
Pray that we may continue serving the university students here in Mexico with great love, enthusiasm, and passion.
