March 2015
Dear friends,
We send our warmest greetings and we are excited to tell you a little bit about what God has been doing in the students’ lives here at BUAP, the university at which we have our student-led ministry.
Two weeks ago, we were visited by 6 students from North Carolina State University.  These students wanted to come and serve alongside the students from BUAP for a week.  Along with the students from Buap they shared their faith and invited people to get involved with CRU.  It was a wonderful week of ministry!  Many students had the opportunity to hear the Gospel and quite a few of them received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  I personally had the opportunity to share the Gospel with Javier, a Computer Science student, who put his faith in Christ that day.
It was an intensive and fruitful week of outreach.  Many of the students who have been involved in the ministry felt challenged by God this week.  Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful,” and these students came to understand that truth more fully and bravely went out to share their faith with their peers.  Everyone had a great passion to see more of their university classmates come to know Jesus as Lord.
Here are some pictures from this week of ministry.
Last week, the university presented the student leaders with a recognition for all the good they are doing on their campus through CRU.  The university praised these students for  mentoring students from many different academic majors and helping them to grow.  The student leaders were given a great opportunity to share what CRU (Vida Estudiantil) is all about, and many students and professors had a chance to learn about the student movement.  I was very happy to see how these student leaders are showing initiative and dedication as they strive to be a good example of Christ in their relationship with the university authorities.
As far as the family goes, our kids continue to grow bigger every day.  Thank God that they have not been sick lately - we are very grateful to God for that!  3 weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit my parents, who just celebrated 40 years of marriage.  We all went to Veracruz together to spend a few days with them and celebrate this important occasion together.
We really appreciate all of your support in prayer and finances. Together we are bringing the message of the Gospel to Mexico’s university students!

Prayer requests:

- That we will be able to follow up adequately with all the students who recently received Christ.

- That the students will continue to share their faith with great courage.

- That God will provide for the needs of the students who will be going to the Conference in Panama in July.  Next week is the deadline for them to make their first payment in order to attend this conference.
