The Pomares                          June 2015

Dear friends, We send you our warmest greetings and hope that you all are doing very well. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend a training in the city of Quito, Ecuador.  I, and all the rest of the national team from Mexico with which I work, spent 5 whole days receiving training about how to work as a team.  It was a very productive week. Also, two weeks ago I was in Mexico City for a meeting with the new staff, who are continuing the process of raising all the funds they will need for their time on the mission field, so that they may join with us on a full-time basis.  We were able to see how they are doing and heard from them how God is at work in their lives.  They hope to reach their goal by the end of next month.

As far as our family goes, Liz and I are very grateful for God’s provision, since it looks likely that we will be able to attend the important Panama conference next month as a family.  Our goal was to raise 4,500 usd, and we only have 12,00 usd more to go! Our children continue to be strong and healthy, and although they fight a lot some days, they also have great love for each other.   Thank you very much for your prayers and your financial support.  It is an honor for us to partner with you as we continue seeing university students in Mexico coming to know Christ.   Prayer requests: For the new staff who are raising support, that God will introduce them to people who want to invest in their lives and in the lives of the university students.   That God will provide the rest of what is needed for us to attend the two conferences in Panama.   For the students at the end of the school year, that the students may continue bravely sharing their faith with their university friends.
